Graduation Project/Thesis Oral Defense Schedule 2019
Graduation project/thesis oral defense for Communications Engineering Year 2015 (CE15) final year students will be arranged on Saturday, May 25, 2019 this semester. All the CE15 international students in Communications Engineering should attend on time.
Time: 16:00 Saturday, May 25th, 2019. Please arrive at least half an hour early to prepare.
The Oral defense Procedures:
1. Students should submit the relevant documents of graduation project/thesis to their supervisors before May 23, 2019. Only upon the supervisor’s approval can the student enter the oral defense stage.
2. Graduation project/thesis oral defense: each student will have 15 min to present the graduation project/thesis with PPT slides, followed by a 15-min question and answer session.
3. Hardware should be demonstrated with power on. Software program should be demonstrated. Other types of graduation project/thesis should also show the results on the spot.
4. Students should submit process management materials and thesis in hardcopy when giving the presentation. Comments and signatures in the process management materials should be manually filled in by the supervisor. Requirements: soft-binding, black and white, A4, at your own cost.
5. The format of graduation project/thesis documents should comply with the requirements from the school.
6. After the oral defense, students should email the softcopy of the assignment book, literature review, thesis proposal, and graduation thesis to the supervisor with filename in the form of student ID file content, e.g. 9150222000 assignment book.
7. The venue and order of the oral defense follow those of the supervisors in the committee below.
